The Evening and Weekend Degree Programs at UNM were founded in 1987 by Dr. David E. Stuart to serve working adults in central New Mexico. The programs were created to schedule more evening and weekend courses leading to regular academic degrees.
UNM programs in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Fine Arts, Architecture, Education and Public Administration programs are enriching the careers of thousands of New Mexico residents. UNM offers 40 degree programs in seven colleges, plus 37 minors and concentrations. Whether you are completing your bachelor's, master's or Ph.D., UNM makes it convenient for you to meet your goals while working during the day.
Approximately 11,500 of your neighbors, peers and colleagues are currently enrolled as evening and Saturday students. Ninety percent of these students work 20 hours per week or more. Their average age is 32 and 62% are female. More than half of all graduate-level courses are now offered at night to accommodate working students.
If you haven't yet met all of your academic goals, join others like you on the night shift at UNM!
